Today I went to Rokko's in Little India at 46th and Fraser. They have such an amazing selection of saris and fabric.

I bought some dioponi silk to complete my mermaid purse.

This is the DMC 5 Perle embroidery thread I bought yesterday. I love to look at the wall in the store - Dick and Jane's - lined with all the beautiful colours. I would love to have that wall of thread in my studio.

It was another beautiful day so I went to my favourite sushi restaurant for dinner before heading home.

  1. What a gorgeous shop! It would be hard to choose fabric there! Your mermaid bag looks lovely.
You sound like you are very busy now with creating and getting outdoors!
    Take care.

  2. Your crazy quilt bag is just so beautiful. And you're so lucky to have stores which stock saris. They're such fantastic clothing. I've been loving them forever.

Thank you for your lovely comments when I'm feeling a bit nutty, hahaha! You've been such a loving blogging friend. Humble thanks again.

  3. Wow what a great store! The colours!
I would love to have a fine stash of such materials in my art room.
Your crazy quilt bag is gorgeous, and I love the colours, and the textures.
Thanks for visiting and giving me some advice, yes I think words need to be written in the journal pages, but I am just not inspired to write anything down! Ohh well, I 'll just keep on journaling and see where that takes me!;)
